Hey all, I'm really bad about writing I know but I've been busy. So just hang in there; as most of you know we got snow on the East Coast. Some places got more than others and one thing that comes along with snow is some good football. Like that Maryland college game on Saturday. It was snowing and they looked cold, well, that's not totally true because Danny O'Brian (QB) looked fine on the sidelines. I don't know if it was the snow or the fact that they are at the bottom of their division but they flopped. To be honest the only place to go is up for them.
The Skins may want to start heading up in the standings, too. With everyone saying that they need a new QB, must I be the one to say this, but they need a DOCTOR not a QB. John Beck is a great QB but he needs a good line to keep him off the ground and everyone on the O-line seems to be hurt or out for the season. In Sunday's game against the Bills, Beck was sacked 9 times. Oh, and they need a new QB, I don't think so.
It seems like there is another plague in the league, the bye week plague. Almost all the teams that have come back from bye have lost the first game afterwards. Take the Pats, they lost to the Steelers (a fine team to lose to if you must lose) on Sunday. With fog starting off the game and an illegal play ending it, it was crazy. I am sorry to say, ok not so sorry, that the Steelers were on top of their game Sunday. The defense has their swagger back but really they couldn't have waited a week? This is one of the few games that I am torn on who to cheer for, but in the end you want the underdog to win. In this case the Pats were the underdog. Most of the game was dominated by the Steelers, like the last play of the game. Brady was sacked and everyone went after the lose ball. Tory Polamau batted the ball into the end zone for a safety. Even thought it's an illegal play it still needs recognition.
That is all for now. And to all you out there who like to have new posts come weekly or daily; that's not happening here on this blog.
